Details – Burton Snowboard Process Flying V – white
- PROFILE: Flying V™ – this hybrid profile combines rocker camber – located in between and out from the binding attachment line, which increases the board’s buoyancy in deeper snow and overall playability – with camber profiles located under the bindings, gently lifting the board for better edge control, more energy and dynamics
- SHAPE: Twin – the board’s perfectly symmetrical shape (identical nose and tail, in shape, length and flex) allows for a centrally positioned stand-up ride, equally effective both forward and on switch. Jibbing, spins, landings and buttering on the slope – during all these evolutions we are provided with better balance, freestyle mobility and “cat-like” stability, no matter which way we ride
- FLEX: Twin – the flex of the twin board is perfectly symmetrically distributed, from nose to tail, allowing you to ride with a centrally positioned body position, equally effective both forward and on the switch
- WIRING: FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 700G Core with Dualzone™ EGD™ and Squeezebox – Stronger and lighter wood, applied to tightly defined areas of the core, helps provide stronger pop-up, durability and board weight reduction. In this design, the wood fibers in two zones are aligned parallel to the toe-heel axis, or perpendicular to the fibers of the rest of the core. This guarantees excellent edge hold and greater durability. The most versatile Squeezebox profile increases the board’s pop-up and efficiency by properly juxtaposing thicker and stiffer sections of the board’s core with thinner and more flexible ones. The snowboarder’s energy is transmitted under his feet and transferred outwards towards the nose and tail, making the board more dynamic, stable and easier to maneuver
- LAMINATE / GLASS FIBER: Triax™ – this type of fiber weave provides a versatile flex and responsiveness suitable for most applications – from fun to more serious action
- SELL: Sintered – a durable glide with a highly porous structure. With increased durability and excellent lubricant absorption, it provides excellent glide in all conditions
- The Channel™ – stronger, faster, easier and more adjustability – these are the advantages of The Channel™ system, which provides full control of setting your standing position on the board and is compatible with all major mounting systems used in bindings (not only by Burton)
- Frostbite Edges – a solution introduced by the Burton brand long before the advent of overrated “notched edge” patents. The Frostbite design extends slightly beyond the area underneath the bindings, providing extremely strong edge hold, especially on hard, icy surfaces. Solid grip when you need it, the ability to play if you feel like it. Frostbite edges are ready to bite into hard snow crust like a lion into a leg of antelope, but they are also forgiving of mistakes and allow for smooth and fluid board handling
- Scoop – the board’s heavily teaspoon-shaped nose and tail raise the edge at both ends of the board to provide a looser riding style without worrying about “cutting in” the edge during freestyle play, and is forgiving of mistakes in both groomed and deep powder riding
- Pro-Tip™ – the board’s tapering thickness at the nose and tail contributes to a reduction of so-called rotational mass, i.e. weight in areas that are important for making the board easier to maneuver
- Infinite Ride™ – this exclusive Burton technology allows you to maximize energy and dynamics by “building up” the board and preparing it in a special machine, which, strongly bending the deck, adjusts its parameters to your expectations. Whether you opt for a rocker or camber profile, with Infinite Ride™ technology you get the assurance that your board will maintain flex, pop and feel levels from day one, season after season
- A lightweight board with a true twin profile designed for all-terrain riding in line with the philosophy espoused by champions like Mark McMorris himself. This model is constantly being refined to reduce weight and increase pop – the Burton Process board is a favorite of Mark McMorris because of the freestyle fierceness of the proflu twin and the versatility to ride any terrain. The eco-friendly FSC™ Certified Super Fly II core creates a lighter and more resilient construction, while the Squeezebox core profiling technology allows for energy transfer to the tail and nose, resulting in stronger ollies and reliable stability. The board is available in two versions – you can choose between the more relaxed hybrid Flying V™ profile or the precise-riding PurePop Camber profile. The Process board feels perfect in freestyle atmospheres, while also performing well anywhere else on the mountain
