Details – Burton Snowboard Process – white
- PROFILE: PurePop Camber – small, flat sections (flat) outward from the binding attachment line reinforce the pop-up and add stubbiness to the board, which perfectly complements the characteristics provided by the camber profile used on the section between the bindings, namely dynamics and responsiveness. The earlier elevation of the nose and tail zones allows the board to maneuver more easily, increases its displacement in deeper snow and prevents the edges from cutting into the ground
- SHAPE: Twin – the board’s perfectly symmetrical shape (identical nose and tail, in shape, length and flex) allows you to ride with a centrally positioned standing position, equally effective both forward and on switch. Jibbing, spins, landings and buttering on the slope– during all these evolutions we are assured of better róbalance, freestyle’ow mobility and „cat” stability, no matter which way we ride
- FLEX: Twin – the flex of the twin board is perfectly symmetrically distributed, from nose’a to tail, allowing you to ride with a centrally positioned body position, equally effective both’forward and switch
- WIRING: FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 700G Core with Dualzone™ EGD™ and Squeezebox – stronger and lighter wood, used in strictly defined areas of the core, helps provide stronger pop-up, durability and board weight reduction. In this design, the wood fibers in twoózones are arranged parallel to the toe-heel axis, that is, perpendicular to the fibers of the rest of the core. This guarantees excellent edge hold and greater durability. The most versatile Squeezebox profile increases the board’s pop-up and efficiency by appropriately juxtaposing thicker and stiffer sections of the board’s core with thinner and more flexible ones. The snowboarder’s energy is transmitted under his feet and transferred outwards towards the nose’a and tail, making the board more dynamic, stable and easier to maneuver
- LAMINATE / GLASS OWNERSHIP: Triax™ – this type of weave of the fiber provides versatile flex and reactivity, suitable for most applications – from fun to more serious action. The fibers are arranged at a 45° angle and are suitable for an aggressive riding style.
- SELLER: Sintered – durable slide with a highly porous structure. With increased durability and excellent lubricant absorption, it provides excellent glide in all conditions
- The Channel™ – stronger, faster, easier and more adjustable – these are the advantages of The Channel™ system, which gives you full control of setting your standing position on the board and is compatible with all major mounting systems used in bindings (not only Burton brand)
- Frostbite Edges – a solution introduced by the Burton brand long before the advent of overrated „corrugated edge” patents. The Frostbite design extends slightly beyond the area underneath the bindings, providing extremely strong edge hold, especially on hard, icy surfaces. Solid grip when you need it, the ability to play if you feel like it. Frostbite edges are ready to bite into hard snow crust like a lion into a leg of antelope, but they’re also forgiving of mistakes and allow for smooth and fluid board handling
- Super Sap® Epoxy – a resin with more than 30% natural ingredientsós content. Produced using green renewable techniques reducing the carbon impact on the environment by over 50%
- Scoop – the board’s heavily emphasized „teaspoon-shaped” nose and tail causes an edge lift at both ends of the board, which contributes to providing a looser riding style without worrying about „pounding” edges during freestyle’fun, it also forgives riding mistakes on both groomed slopes and deep powder
- Pro-Tip™ – tapering the thickness of the board on the nose and tail contributes to reducing the so-called rotating mass, i.e. weight in places that’re important for making the board easier to maneuver
- Infinite Ride™ – this exclusive Burton technology allows you to maximize energy and dynamics, by „building” the board and preparing it in a special machine thatóra, strongly bending the deck, adjusts its parameters to your expectations. Whether you opt for a rocker or camber profile, thanks to Infinite Ride&trade technology; you get the assurance that your board will maintain flex, pop and feel levels from day one, season after season
- A lightweight board with a true twin profile designed for all-terrain riding in line with the philosophy espoused by such championsóas Mark McMorris himself. This model is constantly being refined to reduce weight and increase pop – the Burton Progress board is a favorite of Mark McMorris because of its freestyle fierce twin profile and versatility to ride any terrain. The new PurePop camber profile provides a lot of bounce, and at the same time is forgiving of mistakesós made. The Process board feels perfectly at home in freestyle climates, and at the same time handles well anywhere on the gór, which has been proven over and over again by prosórs constantly looking for extreme challenges. The eco-friendly FSC™ Certified Super Fly II core creates a lighter and more resilient construction, while the Squeezebox core profiling technology allows energy to be transferred to the tail and nose, resulting in stronger ollies and reliable stability. The board is available in two versions – you can choose between the more relaxed hybrid Flying V&trade profile; or the precise-riding PurePop Camber profile.
