• Lib Rig board model, created in collaboration with Austen Sweetin. As you probably know, Austen is a rider who rides many board models and in really diverse conditions and terrain. Thanks to this experience and a solid study of the geometry and characteristics of the boards he has ridden so far, he decided to create one board model that will be perfect for him in all conditions. So if you’re an experienced rider who wants a very versatile board, whether you’re hitting powder or want to edge ride the trail or do tricks, this is definitely the model for you. It has the best of all worlds – early rise directional camber profile, directional camber that gently rises towards the nose and deep sidecut, which are responsible for stability and precision turns during fast descents, while the wide nose, features excellent buoyancy in powder.
• Early rise directional camber – directional camber with a gently rising nose. This is a very aggressive shape for advanced riders who expect full control and very fast board response when riding very fast, it works great in deep snow.
• Magne-Traction® is a special corrugated edge with 7 contact points. A normal board has only 2. This makes the board much more stable on the edge, especially showing on hard or icy slopes. Magne Traction® doesn’t need to be sharpened as often as a normal edge to still enjoy incredible hold while riding. Patented by Mervin Mfg.
• Tri-Ax / Bi-Ax Fiberglass laid crosswise and longitudinally for even more pop and control on the board.
• Eco Sublimated Polytop top layer of the board made of durable yet environmentally friendly materials.
• Aspen/Paulownia is a core composed of 2 types of wood. Aspen to strengthen the board, Paulownia to reduce weight. This core gives the board a very strong pop. All cores are made from scratch at the Mervin Mfg factory.
• Directional, the inserts are offset towards the tail also the board is waisted towards the tail.
• Sintered Base is a very fast sintered slide
• Birch Internal Sidewalss reinforcements run along the sidewalls of the board, making the board more durable and offering even more pop and control.
• UHMW Sintered Sidewalls are highly impact-resistant board sidewalls manufactured using sintering technology
• UHMW TIP/TAIL Impact Deflection reinforced front and back of the board makes the construction more impact resistant.
• Handbuilt in the USA at Mevin Mfg which is the greenest snowboard factory in the world. This includes the materials, recycling and energy that powers the factory.
